The short and sweet version of the Moon Cycle for your garden.

3rd New Moon in Scorpio Rest and do nothing. Cultivate an attitude of commitment. 
7th 8th9th am only Waxing Fertile 1st Quarter Perfect for all sowing and planting. Especially for vegetables whose leaves we eat.  
11th pm only12th 13th 16th Waxing Fertile 2nd Quarter Perfect for all sowing and planting. Especially for vegetables that bear fruits or seeds for eating. 
18th Full Moon in Taurus Official gardeners rest day so do nothing. JHarvest an attitude of reliability.

 

20th pm only 21st23rd am only Waning Fertile Moon3rd Quarter Plant root crops
AEDTTimes are correct for Vic NSW and Tas S.A. subtract ½ hour. QLD subtract 1 hour W.A subtract 3 hours N.T subtract 1.5 hours. N. Z add 2 hours

 

Now you know when to plant – you will want to know when to

 

  • prune to enhance growth,
  • prune to reduce growth,
  • fertilize,
  • weed,
  • harvest crops
  • treat pets for fleas and ticks
  • manage plant and animal diseases
  • and make gardening easier!
